WIN FOR DIABETICS WITH NEW PBS LISTING

Diabetics will have better access to treatment from October after the federal government decided to list two new drugs on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. Health Minister Tony Abbott says long-lasting injectable insulins Lantus and Levemir will be subsidised from October 1, at a cost of $145 million over the next three years.
