BAYER OPEN TO FURTHER ACQUISITIONS AFTER SCHERING

German chemicals and pharmaceuticals giant Bayer says it is still open to further acquisitions even though it was still in the process of integrating Berlin-based drug maker Schering which it recently acquired for close to 17 billion euros (22 billion dollars).
