PFIZER BLOOD-CLOT DRUG GETS PANEL'S OK

A Pfizer Inc. drug received the endorsement of a panel of government advisers Wednesday for use in preventing some blood clots that can prove deadly for cancer patients. Fragmin has Food and Drug Administration approval for use in preventing blood clots in some surgery and heart patients.
