ARIAD LOSES BID TO END AMGEN LAWSUIT

Ariad Pharmaceuticals Inc., a developer of drugs to treat cancer, said Tuesday a federal court denied its motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed against it by biotechnology company Amgen Inc.
