Letters from Congress (Eye on FDA)
In his blog, Mark Senak discusses what he sees as a growing tendency among lawmakers to send letters to the FDA requesting action, citing in particular a recent one from Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) asking for an investigation of nasal decongestants. "Put all the letters from individual Congresspeople together in a bundle and what you get is micromanagement," he writes.
