MEDICAL DEVICE FIRM IVIVI PLANS IPO

Medical-device maker Ivivi Technologies Inc. plans to go public to raise money for research and development. The Northvale-based company intends to sell 2.5 million shares and hopes to raise between $15 million and $20 million, according to a Sept. 14 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
