GUIDANT LAWSUIT ALLEGES OFFER OF 'BOUNTIES'

An obscure lawsuit pending in Ramsey County District Court appears at first to be a standard contractual dispute. Christopher Delgado, of Ellicott City, Md., left his job as a regional sales manager for heart device maker Guidant Corp. in July for a new position with rival St. Jude Medical Inc.
