INSMED: PARTS OF TERCICA CLAIM DISMISSED

Drug developer Insmed Inc. said Thursday a U.S. District Court threw out parts of an unfair competition claim filed by Tercica Inc. The ruling found that Tercica did not meet its burden of establishing that alleged claims made by Insmed amounted to "false advertising" or broke Virginia law. So the court dismissed some of the claims brought by Tercica, according to Insmed.
