RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS UNDER INDO-AUSTRALIAN BIOTECH FUND TO START FROM 2007

India and Australian Government have established an Indo-Australian Fund for Scientific and Technological Cooperation in Biotechnology (Indo-Australian Biotechnology Fund). The Australia-India Strategic Research Fund will be to the tune of $20 million, with a major biotech component. The Fund will begin in 2006-07 and will close in 2010-11.
