Merck & Co. is expected to receive U.S. regulatory approval for its breakthrough diabetes drug Januvia, the Financial Times reports. The drug is expected to be a blockbuster with more than $1 billion in annual sales and is critical to Merck's five-year profit growth forecasts, the newspaper reports.
