SANGAMO, PFIZER ENTER COLLABORATION

Biotech company Sangamo BioSciences is collaborating with drugmaker Pfizer to produce enhanced proteins. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Under the agreement, Pfizer will fund Sangamo's research and the company will supply Pfizer with its proprietary zinc finger DNA binding protein, or ZFP, to assess for pharmaceutical production.
