FONAR SELLS WORLD'S FIRST ROOM-SIZE MRI TO THE NUFFIELD ORTHOPAEDIC CENTRE

FONAR has sold its FONAR 360 MRI to the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC) NHS Trust in Oxford, England. The NOC is a specialist 190-bed teaching hospital and part of the UK National Health Service. The FONAR 360 MRI is a room-size MRI with a standard 8-foot ceiling. The magnetic poles of the scanner are located in the center of the room, with one magnet pole protruding from the ceiling and the other from the floor.
