GENYX MEDICAL RECEIVES FDA APPROVAL OF URYX URETHRAL BULKING AGENT AND COMPLETES SALE OF COMPANY TO C.R. BARD

Genyx Medical of Aliso Viejo, Calif., has announced the final closing of its agreement with C.R. Bard for the sale of Genyx to Bard for $60 million. The final closing followed FDA approval of Genyx's premarket approval application for Uryx, its novel urethral bulking agent for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence.
