EDWARDS LAUNCHES THERMAFIX TISSUE PROCESS ON PERIMOUNT MAGNA HEART VALVES AT STS 2005

Edwards Lifesciences has announced the U.S. launch of its ThermaFix advanced tissue treatment process, which will now be available on the company's Carpentier-Edwards PERIMOUNT Magna replacement tissue heart valves. The new combination of technologies will be formally unveiled at the 41st annual scientific meeting of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) in Tampa, Fla., Jan. 24-26.
