Perlegen Partners With AstraZeneca for Genome Study

Perlegen Sciences will conduct a high-density whole genome study for an undisclosed trait of interest with global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. This is the second project the Mountain View, Calif. biotech company has formed with AstraZeneca in just over a year. Perlegen will assay human genetic variants (SNPs) in individuals with a specific trait and compare with individuals without the trait.
