GenData Research Changes Name to LineaGen Research

GenData Research, a population genetics and biomarker discovery research company, is changing the company name and identity to LineaGen Research. GenData was founded in 2002 by the State of Utah, the University of Utah, and the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and since established discovery collaborations with Amgen, Celera Diagnostics and Battelle. Former Utah Governor Michael Leavitt through the State's Industrial Assistance Fund spearheaded original funding for the company.
