Icoria Partnering With Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center

January 28, 2005

The U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center has enlisted Icoria to help it with research that eventually could be used to try to discover new treatments for low-level chemical warfare agent exposure. The research also could be used to develop field tests that could determine if soldiers or civilians have been exposed to chemical agents. The first phase of the arrangement, which runs through October 2005, does not have a financial component, according to Icoria spokesman David Reeder.
