Covalent Signs $2.7 Million on Contracts

Covalent Group, which completes clinical R&D, has said it was awarded $2.7 million of new contracts. The company said the new contracts are for new consulting and clinical operation services, as well as an expansion of some existing contracts. The names of clients were not released. The therapeutic areas covered include kidney and cardiovascular diseases. Revenue recognition for these contracts will begin in this quarter and extend into 2006 as services are performed.
