Aethlon Medical to Initiate HIV Trials in India

Aethlon Medical has retained Sunil Sawhney, the former director of Boston Scientific India, and other regulatory advisors from Qualtran LLC to manage clinical studies to treat patients infected with HIV in India.

Aethlon CEO, James Joyce said, "This is a tremendous market opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness of our HIV-Hemopurifier." The company said site selection for the trials is under way, and patient enrollment should begin in the coming months.
