Celltech Owner to Plough £17 Million Into Slough Labs

Two new drugs from the labs of Celltech, the British biotech firm recently acquired by Belgian company UCB, will start human trials this year. Celltech's new owner is also spending £17 million on expanding the company's site in Slough, where research and development for the merged firm is now based. This is despite a 10 percent fall in sales of Celltech's products in the last five months of the year, under the new ownership.
