Vision-Sciences Lands $10 Million in Private Placement

Vision-Sciences, which makes endoscopic products using disposable sheaths, has announced the sale of roughly 3.7 million shares of common stock for roughly $10 million in a private equity placement. According to a press release from the Natick, Mass.-based Vision-Sciences, two independent investors bought about $8 million of the stock, which was priced at $2.70 per share, and two significant shareholders and directors acquired the rest of the shares.
