DA Approves Use of R2's CAD System With Siemens' MAMMOMAT

R2 Technology has received FDA approval to expand the use of its ImageChecker D product for CAD processing of images acquired with the Siemens Medical Solutions MAMMOMAT NovationDR and viewed on Siemens' MammoReportPlus softcopy reporting workstation.

Under the terms of an agreement signed in 2002 and renewed in 2005, Siemens and R2 have exclusive worldwide distribution rights to sell the R2 customized product in combination with Siemens MAMMOMAT NovationDR. Worldwide shipments of the integrated system are expected to begin shortly.
