Stryker Buys eTrauma for $50 Million

Medical devicemaker Stryker reported that it bought privately held eTrauma.com for $50 million in cash to incorporate the digital imaging software company with its orthopedics business. The company said Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based eTrauma is being combined with Stryker's endoscopy imaging business, with John Hodgeman, eTrauma's president and chief executive, serving as general manager of Stryker Imaging.
