Hikal to Set Up Pune Contract R&D Facility

Agro-pharma firm Hikal is setting up a contract research facility in Pune, Maharashtra, with an upfront investment of Rs 20 crore ($4.5 million) for chemistry and life sciences. To be located in the biotech park on the outskirts of Pune, the high-tech facility will enable the Mumbai-based Hikal to undertake long-term research contracts from global life sciences companies.
