Atrium Announces CE Approval for HyperLite Catheter

Atrium Medical has announced it received CE approval for the HyperLite LX Rapid Exchange PTCA Catheter.

The HyperLite LX PTCA Catheter is available in diameters ranging from 1.5mm to 4.0mm including popular quarter sizes and lengths of 10, 15, 20 and 30mm. The completely re-engineered HyperLite LX provides cardiologists with one of the most flexible and lowest crossing profile PTCA catheters at .026".

The HyperLite LX combines next-generation balloon welding technology with a more advanced QUAD-Fold balloon to offer one of the lowest crossing profiles available. Atrium's all new PTCA catheter allows for 5Fr guide catheter compatibility, and dual-catheter kissing balloon techniques with a 6Fr guide catheter. HyperLite LX was designed for crossing the most challenging of coronary lesions by incorporating an incredibly flexible, yet strong micro-step tip design.
