Artemis Boss Calls for Germany to Follow Scotland's ITI Example

Peter Stadler, the managing director of German bioscience firm Artemis Pharmaceuticals, is lobbying his government to set up a venture similar to Scotland's flagship Intermediary Technology Institutes (ITI) initiative. Artemis and partner Dundee-based CXR Biosciences were awarded 5.5 million last month by ITI Life Sciences to develop screening and safety models to more accurately predict the effects of drug compounds and their breakdown in the human body.
