United Therapeutics Will Sell Lead Drug in France

United Therapeutics, coming off its first-ever profitable year, says it has received regulatory approval in France for Remodulin, its treatment for pulmonary hypertension, a rare lung disorder. Winning French approval to sell the drug could clear the way for wider sales in Europe. The company says it expects to win a mutual recognition agreement in the rest of the European Union based on the French approval.
