Kobayashi Combe to Become Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Kobayashi

Kobayashi Pharmaceutical announced March 8 that it has agreed with Combe International, a U.S. pharmaceutical company, regarding Kobayashi Combe, a 50/50 joint venture between Kobayashi and Combe. Under the terms of the agreement, Combe will transfer its shares in Kobayashi Combe to Kobayashi. In addition, they have agreed that Kobayashi will receive the trademark right to Lanacane, Combe's proprietary skin care series, in Japan.
