Crucell and DSM Announce Licensing Agreement With JCR

Dutch biotechnology company Crucell N.V. and allied contract manufacturer DSM Biologics announced that they have signed a PER.C6 research license agreement with leading Japanese pharmaceutical company JCR Pharmaceuticals. This license agreement allows JCR to use the PER.C6 cell line for production of certain recombinant therapeutic proteins. Under the terms of the agreement, JCR will make a research license payment and annual maintenance fees. Further financial details were not disclosed.
