Quintiles Opens India Facility

Quintiles Transnational on Monday opened a new clinical trials data management center in Bangalore, India, according to the Associated Press. The center employs 187 people, the AP reports. The increases in employment in India come as the Durham-based pharmaceutical services company is slashing more than 930 jobs as part of a worldwide restructuring. The company has about 850 employees in India, according to the AP.
