Axeda Signs Deal With Medical Device Company

Axeda Systems has inked a license deal with Respironics for the Axeda DRM (Device Relationship Management) system to be used in remote monitoring and maintenance and service support of its Esprit critical care ventilators. Axeda, a public company based in Mansfield, Mass., is a provider of device relationship management software and services. Respironics, with headquarters in Murrysville, Pa., develops products designed to improve sleeping and minimize respiratory problems.
