UCB Announces GSK as New Co-Distibutor of Zyrtec in Japan

Pharmaceuticals group UCB SA said GlaxoSmithKline PLC will be the co-distributor of its antiallergy drug Zyrtec in Japan, from July 1. The Japanese unit of GSK will replace Sumitomo Pharmaceuticals in the arrangement with the Belgian pharmaceuticals group. UCB said it will also collaborate with GSK on further developments such as product line extensions for Zyrtec.
