J&J to Acquire Peninsula for $245 Million

Johnson & Johnson said on Tuesday it will acquire Peninsula Pharmaceuticals Inc., a privately held biotechnology company focused on developing antibiotics, in a cash deal valued at about $245 million. Johnson & Johnson said it expects to incur a one-time charge of about 8 cents a share.
