Datascope Announces Safeguard 12 cm Pressure Assisted Dressing

Datascope announced the worldwide launch of Safeguard 12 cm. Safeguard 12 cm is the second product to be released in the Safeguard family of products. Safeguard 24 cm was introduced in September 2003. Both Safeguard 12 cm and Safeguard 24 cm are access-site management devices. They are used to control and stop bleeding after cardiac catheterization and radiological procedures where secondary hemostasis is required following manual compression or the placement of invasive mechanical closure devices.
