IRIS to Acquire Assets of Urinalysis Business

IRIS International, a manufacturer and marketer of automated IVD urinalysis systems and medical devices used in hospitals and clinical reference laboratories worldwide, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of the urinalysis business segment of Quidel for an undisclosed cash amount. Closing of the transaction is expected to take place on or before May 31.
