Georgia Firm to Buy CP Medical

Theragenics of Buford, Ga., plans to buy Portland-based medical device company CP Medical for $25.4 million to diversify its offerings. CP Medical makes sutures, cardiac pacing cables, brachytherapy needles/spacers, and other medical products for the professional surgical and veterinary fields.
