U.S. to File Class Action Suit on Behalf of All Italian Vioxx Consumers

On May 9, 2005, the law firm of Kenneth B. Moll & Associates will file in federal court in Chicago, Ill., the first class action lawsuit on behalf of all Italian citizens who allegedly died or were seriously injured by the pain medication Vioxx. The suit accuses pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co. of failing to properly research the known risks of Vioxx and warn Italian consumers of potentially fatal side effects.
