Venetec, Vygon Sign Agreement for UK StatLock Distribution

Venetec International, maker of StatLock safety securement devices for catheters and other medical applications, has signed an agreement with Vygon for distribution of StatLock in the UK.

The device eliminates the risk to healthcare workers of needlestick injuries when securing vascular access devices. It also contributes to the overall longevity of the devices by decreasing the potential for catheter dislodgment and infection

"Venetec has been steadily expanding its presence in Europe, and this agreement is a major step forward in that effort," said Venetec President and CEO Gene Starr. "We already have many accounts in the UK that order virtually the full line of StatLock products. With this new agreement, we are confident we will see accelerated growth and market acceptance in the UK."
