Advanced Medical to Buy Quest Vision

Eye care product maker Advanced Medical Optics said that it exercised its option under a research and evaluation agreement to acquire Quest Vision Technologies. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Tiburon, Calif.-based Quest Vision makes lenses that are surgically placed within the eye to correct presbyopia, or the progressive loss of the eye's ability to change focus from far to near objects.
