DAIICHI, DAIICHI SUNTORY BRING ADENOSCAN TO JAPAN

Daiichi Pharmaceutical announced on June 20 that it has released Adenoscan Injection 60mg, a pharmacologic stress agent for myocardial perfusion scintigraphy. Developed by US firm King Pharmaceuticals Research and Development, the new product is the first such agent that has been approved in Japan. Daiichi Suntory Pharma, a Daiichi Pharmaceutical group company, has obtained import approval. Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy is a useful method to diagnose ischemic heart disease.
