WYETH OPENS NEW DUBLIN BIO FACILITY

Wyeth Pharmaceuticals today formally opened its new billion biotechnology production facility at Grange Castle in Co Dublin, which will employ over 1,000 people. Wyeth already has plants in Sligo, Newbridge, and Askeaton and the new jobs will bring its Irish workforce to over 3,000. The new 1.2 million square foot campus is one of the largest integrated biotech manufacturing facilities in the world and is expected to produce some of the company's most innovative products.
