CHINA BIOPHARMA SHIPS 1.5 MILLION FLU SHOTS IN CHINA

November 14, 2006

China Biopharma announced that through its subsidiary, Hainan CITIC Biopharmaceutical Development, it has completed the delivery of 1.5 million doses of flu vaccine in China.

This vaccine shipment is among the first to be made available to the Chinese public for the 2006-2007 flu season. China's Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has formulated a rigorous plan to increase the accessibility and affordability to influenza vaccines nationwide.

"Our vision is to become one of China's leading providers of pandemic and seasonal influenza vaccines. Now that we have successfully delivered our first batch of flu vaccines to local CDCs, insurance companies, hospitals and other facilities, we believe we are on track to deliver a total of 3 million doses of vaccine by year-end 2006," Peter Wang, chairman and CEO of China Biopharma, said.

China Biopharma develops and distributes human vaccine products in China, including vaccines against influenza, hemorrhagic fever and Japanese encephalitis.
