Hepatitis B Drug Approved in China (Pharma Gazette)
In her post, Gloria Gamat reports that Idenix's Sebvio (telbivudine), also called Tyzeka, has been approved by regulatory authorities in China. "Telbivudine received regulatory approval in the United States from the Food and Drug Administration in October 2006 for the treatment of [chronic hepatitis B] in adult patients with evidence of viral replication and active liver disease."
